Welcome to OneMansLoss.com - a new video blog where I will detail my weight loss experience during the summer of 2008.

I was always the “skinny kid” growing up, so of course I thought I could eat anything. Once I hit 25, however, something changed. Weight started to pile on, and I didn’t know why. I was still eating what I ate as a kid, so what was happening? I could bore you with all of the metabolism mumbo-jumbo but you’ve heard it all before.

So now, nearing age 35, I am at a whopping 240 lbs and hating my life. It is time to finally get under the 200 mark again, and to do that - I need your help.

I previously tried to jump on board with Colin Devroe on “The Diet” and had some success, but as many people out there know what happens sometimes - I gained it back… hard. I have turned to social networking to help me.

What You Will See

Starting tonight, June 1st, I will record a short video about the day’s progress. You can either view them here on onemansloss.com or on the YouTube account I will link in once the first video is posted.

What You Will Not See

You will NOT see Day X photos, or photos of me in a speedo detailing my weight loss. This is to protect you as well as me.

What You Can Do

Digg, Stumble, bookmark and link to this site. The more people I know are watching me, the better I will do. My “ultimate goal” weight is 185lbs (if not less). I also have a series of mini-goals to help me get there.
